a.k.a Sherard’s Rose. An interesting five petalled variety. Stems grow upright in a slight zig zag and are covered in thorns. Its leaves have a characteristic purplish stipule and midbrib. Often found in hedgrows in Scotland and Wales. Flowers late Spring. Size 2m x 2m.
