More about Nostalgic roses:
Nostalgic roses are new collection of roses bred by Tantau. They have very full, fragrant blooms, reminiscent of old fashioned roses but with a more compact growth than many shrub roses of this type. Flowering over a very long period, with good resistance to disease, these roses are also excellent for cut blooms.
Aphrodite is a Gold Standard award winner. With gorgeous very large blooms in pale pink; beautiful spiralled buds and strong fragrance, it’s clear to see why. Ideal for cutting, hardy and disease resistant and a good repeat flowerer, this rose is worthy of its accolades.
Pruning Guide: Prune in February/ March. Prune very lightly in the first year, reducing stems by no more than a third. In subsequent years, growths can be reduced by up to a half to leave a beautifully shapely plant.
