We have been growing roses in Norfolk since 1984 and take great pride in producing quality plants. Old Roses are our special passion, yet we love roses of all persuasions and stock many beautiful Species, Shrub, Climbing and Rambling Roses, both modern and old. Our aim is to offer a range that fully embodies the sheer diversity that roses can bring to your garden. Fragrance, foliage, fruit and flower come in a multitude of variations and permutations that provides a rose for virtually every situation.
Most of our roses can be purchased bare root (dormant) for delivery from November until March, in addition we also offer a selection that can be bought potted in peat-free compost. Good cultivation in virgin soil, strict grading and minimal storage ensure that they arrive in the best possible condition.

Repeat Flowering Old Roses
Most Old Roses give us a glorious display from early June, that fleeting beauty which shouldnt be missed, but amongst them we find a few that will keep on serving. Repeatability appears in a few old classes and the Chinas are the most floriferous, diverse in both habit and bloom shape. Meanwhile the deeply perfumed Portland Damasks and Bourbons are able to give a 2nd flush from August. All quintessential for any old rose garden.

Jobs for September 2018. Glasgow Rose Trials
Bliss - Winner of Silver Medal and the Tollcross Fragrance Award. Glasgow 2018 Sombreuil- A climbing rose that has an intense display of blooms this September. After a such a hot summer this year some of you may be looking forward to the cooler nights this September. Roses can be magnificent at this time and with the chillier temperatures they reward us with blooms that are often more intense and longer lived than their summer counterparts. With bare root rose season nearly upon us now is the perfect time to start preparing garden beds for any new arrivals. Begin by finding an ideal spot, bearing in mind it's hardiness, shade tolerance and ultimate size. Double dig the area, adding organic matter such as well rotted farmyard manure or garden compost into the top spit (30cm deep), and then cover back with soil. This should make perfect planting conditions for November. As for us we have just returned from another fantastic Rose Trials and award ceremony in Glasgow. Glasgow City Council are always such generous hosts with a gala dinner at The Winter Palace and award ceremony in the fantastic City Chambers that the judging is a real pleasure. Our personal favourite was 'Bliss' a heady perfumed rose by breeder Kordes. We definitely hope to add this to Our collection of Kordes Roses in the near future.
