We have been growing roses in Norfolk since 1984 and take great pride in producing quality plants. Old Roses are our special passion, yet we love roses of all persuasions and stock many beautiful Species, Shrub, Climbing and Rambling Roses, both modern and old. Our aim is to offer a range that fully embodies the sheer diversity that roses can bring to your garden. Fragrance, foliage, fruit and flower come in a multitude of variations and permutations that provides a rose for virtually every situation.
Most of our roses can be purchased bare root (dormant) for delivery from November until March, in addition we also offer a selection that can be bought potted in peat-free compost. Good cultivation in virgin soil, strict grading and minimal storage ensure that they arrive in the best possible condition.

Most Old Roses give us a glorious display from early June, that fleeting beauty which shouldnt be missed, but amongst them we find a few that will keep on serving. Repeatability appears in a few old classes and the Chinas are the most floriferous, diverse in both habit and bloom shape. Meanwhile the deeply perfumed Portland Damasks and Bourbons are able to give a 2nd flush from August. All quintessential for any old rose garden.

Rambling Rose: Adelaide d’Orleans
History of Adelaide d'Orleans Adelaide d’Orleans is a very useful and beautiful rambler dating from 1826. Bred by Antoine Jacques head gardener to king Louis Phillipe it was named in honour of his twin sister. The clusters of fragrant white blooms emerge from pink buds . The stems are very flexible making them very easy to train over a variety of structures. Recent analysis has shown this to be a hybrid of Rosa sempervirens and Old Blush. Lovestruck Rose of the Year 2018 Lovestruck at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show RHS Hampton Court Flower Show brings us rose growers together, where we celebrate our love for roses. The rose tent is the place to find many special introductions. One to behold will be ‘Lovestuck’ which has been announced, ahead of time, as Rose of the Year 2018 by The English Garden Magazine. Vibrant cherry coloured, it really does strike you with its beauty. Bestowed with two other awards, noting health and good repeat flowering, it really is a deserved winner. ‘Lovestruck’ is now available from our online store for potted and bare root delivery. We also grow and stock many other Rose of the Year winners including last year’s climbing rose, ‘Scent From Heaven’, the ever popular ‘For Your Eyes Only’ and the magnificent modern bush ‘Joie de Vivre’.
