Their fragrance has notes of spice. Their ability to repeat flower, make them ideal hedging plants. Often seen en masse in parks or by roadways. Some have attractive red hips, which adorn them from late Summer to Autumn. These are often used in cooking for making rose hip syrup, as well as dried for use in teas.
