More about Modern Shrub roses:
Modern Shrubs are a large assortment of mostly more modern hybrids of very mixed ancestry. All highly useful in their own individual ways. For the most part they were developed in the 20th century and do not fall into other groupings.
Angela is a pretty floribunda rose. Cupped blooms are rose-pink and fade to light pink at the centre. Attractive to bees, with a mild, fruity fragrance, this is a reasonably sized bushy shrub with attractive mid-green foliage.
Pruning Guide: Prune in February/ March. Prune very lightly in the first year, reducing stems by no more than a third. In subsequent years, growths can be reduced by up to a half to leave a beautifully shapely plant.
