More about Modern Shrub roses:
Modern Shrubs are a large assortment of mostly more modern hybrids of very mixed ancestry. All highly useful in their own individual ways. For the most part they were developed in the 20th century and do not fall into other groupings.
Sally Holmes is a perpetual flowering rose, with huge trusses of single white blooms, flushed with peach and pink. A very strong growing shrub, with glossy deep green leaves and a good fragrance.
Pruning Guide: Prune in February/ March. Prune very lightly in the first year, reducing stems by no more than a third. In subsequent years, growths can be reduced by up to a half to leave a beautifully shapely plant.
